I'm a roller coaster junkie, a weather enthusiast, a frequent traveler, and a numismatist. My love for coins began when I was 11 years old. I primarily collect and study U.S. coins produced during the 20th century. I'm a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and the Numismatic Literary Guild (NLG). I've also been studying meteorology and watching weather patterns for years. I enjoy sharing little-known facts and fun stuff about coins, weather, travel, health, food, and living green... on a budget. I work from home full-time as a journalist, reporter, and author.
In 2011, Krylon® introduced Krylon Fusion for Plastic®. No sanding. No priming. No flaking. Fusion actually “superbonds” with most plastics, PVC, resins, glass, hard vinyl, metal, paper, wicker, wood, ceramic and plaster. It needs no prep work and is durable. .
The largest plastic shed I have seen is 15x8 foot. If your thinking of going larger than this, then try a wood or metal shed
How much space do you need? We offer sizes ranging from small garden sheds to large two-story garages.
The labor cost to build a shed varies tremendously based on several factors. Most sheds can be built on any clear area of an existing yard, but if you do not have a clear area, you need excavation or clearing first, which adds to the cost. Grading is the most common type of land preparation needed for a shed and costs $4.37 - $5.41 a square foot.
In case you’re wondering if Tuff Sheds are good and if I’d get one again knowing what I know now… My answer is YES!

However, the crew that came to install my shed is the same team that builds Tuff Sheds from scratch. (I know this because I spoke with the Tuff Shed crew who came to my home, and they told me they also personally build Tuff Sheds.)
The vast majority of sheds are uninsulated. The only time you need to insulate a shed is when it will be used as a workplace. Insulation has a wide range of costs, from low-cost fiberglass to ICF blocks. Expect to spend at least $200 on insulating a basic shed. Larger sheds, sheds with living areas above them, and sheds built from ICF blocks have higher costs. Compare Quotes
The light-beige wooden-effect fascia topped off with shingle style roof panels presents appealing accents to enhance any home garden. Lifetime’s manufacturing technique involves molding high density polyethylene into a double walled skin, then securing the interlinking fascia sheets to the construction’s steel infrastructure.
Plastic sheds are a newer invention, many of which have entered the market only in the last 20-30 years. Plastic sheds come in all shapes, colors, sizes, and levels of quality. The cheapest plastic sheds have no floor and are simply staked down to the ground. More expensive plastic sheds come with a floor that’s made of the same plastic material.
Why might you want to include a ramp in your shed? I am asking the wrong question, why would you not have a ramp for your shed? Adding a simple ramp could make your life so much easier.
NOTE: I did apply new floor paint in my Tuff Shed to freshen up the interior of this former floor model. However, I called my Tuff Shed sales rep before doing so — to make sure I was using paint that doesn’t void the multi-year warranty with my shed. I recommend you consult your Tuff Shed rep for the same advice to avoid having any problems down the road with a voided warranty.
